⑨モネの池

根道神社の脇にある小さな池。透明度の高い水の中を気持ちよさそうに鯉が泳ぐ様子は、まるで絵画のように美しいと話題になっている。6月～7月に睡蓮やコウホネの花が咲き誇り、秋には池の周りのモミジが色づき水面が赤く染まる様子も美しい。

この池は『睡蓮』というクラウド・モネの絵画を想い起こさせるということで、『モネの池』と呼ばれるようになった。

 This is a small  pond next to Nemichi Shrine. The sight of carps swimming in the clear water is so beautiful that it looks like a painting. From June to July water lilies and kohone flowers bloom, and in autumn red and yellow  colors of the leaves of maple trees reflect on the water of the pond.
This pond came to be called Monet's Pond because it remind you of Claude Monet's paintings titled "Water Lilies".
